The 2021 APUSH Exams are Over – Hooray!

AP US History

“I am convinced the digital scales will be very generous.”

Congratulations to all APUSH teachers and students. The 2021 APUSH exams are over. You did it!

Teachers, students, and Reddit posters all agree that the digital exams were very challenging. I am convinced the digital scales will be very generous. Remember, the APUSH exam contains 140 points. In past years the cutoff for a 5 has been between 106 and 109. I predict that this year’s cutoff may be between 103 and 105.

I am pleased to report that everyone agreed that our Fast Review and Doing the DBQ books helped. But we won’t rest on our laurels. During the next few weeks I will review and enhance all of our books and our new website. I expect to have 2022 editions of all the books ready for the beginning of the new school year.

And finally, I am working on a new series of YouTube videos. I promise that I will not promote ITP t-shirts or coffee mugs. I also promise that the videos will not be a simple review of the APUSH Course and Exam Description booklet. Instead, the videos will focus on what the APUSH exam actually tests – key trends, patterns, and developments. Stay tuned! I’ll be posting new materials on a regular basis!
